Inline with the Deyata Kurula 2011 program , HDFC Bank Sports Club selected Sri Suboda Vidyalaya, a school situated in Buththala, facing Buththala-Katharagama road to rehabilitate as a CSR project. This school provides education up to grade 10 and there are approximately 100 students who have undergone many hardship due to inadequate building space, study materials, library facilities, sports, sanitary and water facilities.

ACCA Sustainability Reporting Awards Ceremony was held at Cinnamon Grand Colombo on 24th February 2011 , and HDFC bank won the First Time Entrant Award and the Small Scale Category Award.
