Mr. J. M. P. S. Kaushallya is a fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a fellow Management Accountant (FCMA) of the CMA Sri Lanka. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo, and a Master's in Law (LLM) from Buckinghamshire New University, UK. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) Special Degree in Business Administration with a second-class upper division from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is also a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors and a Member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka. He also holds a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in diplomacy and international affairs from the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute of Sri Lanka. 

He has over 30 years of experience in Banking, Finance, and Advisory services. He has 24 years of experience in the Banking Sector. He held roles at the National Development Bank of Sri Lanka. Further, he has worked as a Director- Advisory Services at Baker Tilly Sri Lanka, a member firm of Baker Tilly International. In addition to the above, he has held the positions of Accountant / CFO / Head of Finance at several companies in Sri Lanka.
