Commemorating World Habitat day on 03rd October 2011 a walk was organized by the HDFC bank from the bank’s head office to Galle Face Green. The purpose was to reflect the idea behind this years Habitat theme “Cities and Climate Change” HDFC employees and the students of Colombo Grammar school, Battaramulla participated in this walk.
Hand outs were distributed among the public to make them aware about Carbon foot print and Climate change. The first copy of this hand out was presented to the Chairperson of the bank Mrs. Siromi Wickramasinghe by the AGM ( Business Development & Marketing ) Mr. D.V.Pthirana |
