The 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of HDFC Bank was held on 23rd June 2025 at 10.00 a.m. at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo 07, in the presence of the shareholders and other invitees.

The bank presented the Annual Report and Audited Financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2024.

The Bank’s Chairman, Mr. P. J. Jayasinghe, Acting GM/CEO, Mr. C. R. P. Balasuriya and Board members Mr. W. M. Ananda, Dr. Krishantha Pathiraja, Mr. W. N. I. C. Fernando, Mr. K. B. Wijeyaratne, Mr. A. N. Hapugala were present at the meeting.

At the AGM, Mr. Jayamanna Mohottige Prabath Shatha Kaushallya was elected as an Independent, Non-Executive Director of HDFC Bank. Mr. J. M. P. S. Kaushallya is a fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a fellow Management Accountant (FCMA) of the CMA Sri Lanka. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo, and a Master's in Law (LLM) from Buckinghamshire New University, UK. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) Special Degree in Business Administration with a second-class upper division from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is also a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors and a Member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka. He also holds a postgraduate diploma (PGD) in diplomacy and international affairs from the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute of Sri Lanka. He has over 30 years of experience in Banking, Finance, and Advisory services.
